Recently, the Basic Education Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education released the "Guidelines for General Education of Artificial Intelligence in Primary and Secondary Schools (2025 Edition)" and the "Guidelines for the Use of Adult Artificial Intelligence for Primary and Secondary School Students (2025 Edition)". The two guidelines released this time are important measures to scientifically and standardly promote the education of artificial intelligence throughout the entire school stage, further implement the cultivation of innovative talents with artificial intelligence literacy, and contribute Chinese solutions to the global education field in response to technological changes. The "Guidelines for Artificial Intelligence General Education in Primary and Secondary Schools (2025 Edition)" aims to build a scientific and comprehensive artificial intelligence general education system, with literacy cultivation as the core. Through a spiral curriculum design, the system achieves literacy development from cognitive enlightenment to innovative practice: primary school focuses on interest cultivation and basic cognition, middle school emphasizes technical principles and basic applications, and high school focuses on systematic thinking and innovative practice. This guide promotes the transformation of artificial intelligence education from local pilot projects to comprehensive coverage through a linkage mechanism of "curriculum reconstruction, resource integration, evaluation innovation, and teacher empowerment", forming a general education system for artificial intelligence in primary and secondary schools with Chinese characteristics. The "Guidelines for the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence for Primary and Secondary School Students (2025 Edition)" adheres to the concept of "application is king, governance is the foundation", closely focusing on the application scenarios of generative artificial intelligence in primary and secondary education, clarifying the usage norms for each stage, ensuring technological safety, rationality, and effectiveness in assisting teaching, promoting personalized learning for students, and promoting intelligent education management, while strictly adhering to data security and ethical bottom lines.
