Artificial intelligence, as a landmark achievement of the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, has a profound impact on national security with its disruptive characteristics of high speed, universality, intelligence, and interactivity. In the current era of unprecedented changes and technological transformations in the world, we should use systems thinking to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence on national security. We should not only pay attention to the impact on traditional security in the changing international landscape, but also be alert to non-traditional security risks under the transformation of the global governance system, and even consider the "human alienation" brought about by technology. Currently, power games involve artificial intelligence in everything from strategic decision-making to military competition, from economic development to discourse power construction. This makes the form of power distribution tend towards digitization, structuring, and flattening. Traditional security such as national sovereignty and military security are being challenged by artificial intelligence technology, especially the improper use of technology has begun to change the form of warfare. Engels once pointed out that if the development of technology and military purposes are combined and interact with each other, change will follow. Artificial intelligence technology can greatly reduce the cost of war and provide new models and paths for many fields such as military technology, strategic analysis, and information gathering. Military equipment is becoming increasingly precise, intelligent, unmanned, and remote, and the form of warfare is evolving towards a complex trend of information warfare, public opinion warfare, cognitive warfare, and military action intertwined. In the continuous development of lethal autonomous weapon systems, the risks and ethical issues they bring have also attracted widespread attention. The relative "autonomy" of lethal autonomous weapon systems has also led to many problems, such as ethical issues in warfare caused by autonomous weapon systems. The arms race triggered by technological development will undoubtedly inject unstable factors into the international security situation. Artificial intelligence technology not only increases the complexity of power games between state actors, but also changes the distribution of power between state and non-state actors. Currently, some companies in the field of artificial intelligence have advantages in technology integration and research and development over national actors. Multinational corporations can operate in multiple countries to achieve "risk diversification", so that they can form a large "network community" without the support of government or national forces. Although this situation is somewhat extreme, the security risks that may arise from the combination of non-state power groups are worth paying attention to. From this, it can be seen that the era of artificial intelligence has put forward urgent and higher requirements for the country on how to crack the "information cocoon" of citizens, how to govern false information, and how to guide citizens to form correct cognition. The most direct impact of artificial intelligence technology on cognition is its influence on public opinion and propaganda, gradually affecting people's thinking. The ability of public opinion propaganda not only affects a country's international status, but also plays a huge role in guiding public psychology. Public opinion is the expression of discourse, and discourse hides ideological connotations. Therefore, in the international situation of ideological competition, it is urgent to pay attention to the negative externalities generated by the combination of artificial intelligence and public opinion propaganda. With the development of the internet and the entry of official organizations and media into social platforms, the internet has gradually become the main medium for public opinion propaganda. This means that individual subjective opinions are easier to express, public and government information exchange channels are more diverse, and even cross-cultural communication is faster and more frequent. In the process of discussion and dissemination, information fraud has become a norm, which not only poses difficulties for the public to accept and screen information, but also affects the accuracy of government departments in obtaining public opinion. False data brings more chaos and disorder to people. If this cognitive influence is used as a weapon of competition between countries, the consequences are unimaginable, and the risks of ideological fragmentation, manipulation, and deconstruction will seriously threaten national security. The social risks caused by artificial intelligence mainly manifest in two aspects: economic development and social operation. The soaring social productivity and rapid expansion of economic scale have become inevitable trends, and the lagging adaptability of production relations, policies, and laws has led to the exacerbation of social problems. In inter state relations, the transformation of production methods by artificial intelligence technology has led to the return of industries, intensified the trend of economic anti globalization, and further exacerbated economic disparities between different countries. Artificial intelligence technology can not only be used for data analysis, but also for on-demand output of various types of data by receiving inputs such as text, images, and audio. In terms of social operation, the knowledge production capacity of artificial intelligence has brought many social problems to fields such as scientific research, academia, media, and justice. At the international level, the diffusion of artificial intelligence technology has also increased the difficulty of transnational crime and counter-terrorism operations. The lowering of the threshold for technology acquisition and the rapid flow of digital resources have prompted illegal organizations to engage in highly secretive and widespread criminal activities. The human identity crisis caused by artificial intelligence has also begun to receive attention, and the existence of human subjectivity may face challenges. Artificial intelligence algorithm logic can widely collect user data, block or screen information for precise push and opinion guidance, reducing users' ability to freely access information and think critically. In the era of fragmented information, artificial intelligence transforms collected data into massive amounts of homogeneous information that erodes human society, resulting in a flattened and singular information space for humans. The new human-machine culture is a product of the era of artificial intelligence, and we should consider how to balance its tension with human culture. Artificial intelligence, as a disruptive technology at the forefront of technology, has become a strategic development goal for many countries. While greatly promoting the development of human production and life, the impact of the subjectivity and instrumental role of artificial intelligence on national security is also diverse and complex. Therefore, it is necessary to construct a national security guarantee system with systematic thinking to cope with technological changes in the changing times.
