In the current trend of global aging, the scientific community's exploration of anti-aging continues to rise. On April 11th, the 4th Traditional Chinese Medicine Anti Aging Summit was held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang. During the conference, Hou Yunlong, Secretary General of the Anti Aging Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, delivered an academic report on the phased achievements of traditional Chinese medicine anti-aging evaluation technology and integration mechanism research. He said that traditional Chinese medicine plays an increasingly important role in the field of anti-aging and has received more and more attention. Hou Yunlong said that currently, the world is facing enormous challenges brought about by aging issues. Among the diverse anti-aging intervention approaches, the innovative drug Bazi Bushen Capsules, developed under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine Qi Luo theory and Jing Qi Shen theory, has shown remarkable performance. Researchers used internationally recognized aging markers to evaluate its anti-aging effect, showing that Bazi Bushen has regulatory effects on epigenetic regulation, cell aging, telomere depletion, stem cell exhaustion, and other aspects. Extending the natural lifespan of mammals and improving their health status, Hou Yunlong introduced a large-scale anti-aging animal experiment on 1200 mice recorded throughout the entire life cycle of mammals in his report. In the experiment, mice were divided into a young control group, a natural aging control group, an Bazi kidney tonifying group, and an NMN group. The results showed that naturally aging mice, which could have lived up to 30 months, could extend their lifespan by nearly 11 months by continuously taking Bazi Kidney Tonifying, which is 9 months longer than taking NMN. At the same time, compared with the natural aging group, the health status of mice in the Bazi kidney tonifying group was significantly improved, with black and shiny fur and good flexibility in movement; Both the exercise endurance, muscle strength, and exercise balance of mice, as well as their memory and social skills, showed significant improvement compared to the natural aging group. Pharmacological mechanism studies have also found that Ba Zi Bu Shen can regulate multiple system functions in mice, including circulation, nervous system, urinary system, metabolism, etc. Its skin and hair aging, heart function, cognitive function, urinary biochemistry, fat metabolism, and exercise ability are all effectively improved. Hou Yunlong also introduced the latest research results of Bazi Bushen in intervening in cardiac aging by inhibiting the aging process of the heart and activating the young pathway of the heart. The main manifestation of cardiac aging is the gradual weakening of the contraction and relaxation functions of the heart, leading to a decrease in pumping efficiency, as well as symptoms such as slow heart rate, myocardial hypertrophy, arteriosclerosis, and arrhythmia. In related studies, researchers used APP/PS1 transgenic mice - these mice, like Alzheimer's disease patients, develop abnormal amyloid plaques in their brains as they age, leading to decreased learning and memory abilities and ultimately cognitive impairment; In addition, changes in neuronal degeneration and synaptic damage, such as a decrease in synaptic density and loss of neurons, were observed in the brains of mice. After 6 months of administration of Bazi kidney tonifying medicine, the number and morphology of Nissl bodies in the hippocampus and cortex of the mouse brain were abundant and clear; In the aging model group (without taking Bazi Bushen), the number of Nissl bodies in the hippocampus and cortex of mice decreased, and the color became lighter, blurred, and dissolved, forming a significant contrast between the two, confirming that Bazi Bushen has the potential to delay the progression of Alzheimer's disease. Improving external aging and anti-aging through nourishing the kidneys with Bazi not only requires "inner strength", but also "face saving". As the largest organ in the human body, the skin is also one of the earliest areas to show signs of aging. As one ages, the skin gradually loses its elasticity and luster, resulting in problems such as sagging, wrinkles, and pigmentation.
