The AG600-1005 aircraft, developed by AVIC, completed a compliance test flight for combustible liquid emissions at the Pucheng Civil Aircraft Flight Test Center in Shaanxi Province. They slid onto the apron and steadily parked and closed the vehicle, marking the successful completion of all pre certification test subjects for the large amphibious aircraft AG600 "Kunlong" and taking a crucial step towards the goal of aviation certification. The pre certification test flight of AG600 aircraft lasted for two years, including three stages: research and development test flight, compliance test flight, and approval test flight. A total of 2014 sorties, 10648 test points, and 3560 flight hours were completed, including high-risk test flight subjects such as flutter, flight load, high-speed characteristics, loss of speed, minimum control speed in the air, minimum ground departure speed, and maximum energy braking to abort takeoff. In the face of high-risk subjects, the test flight team strictly followed procedures, controlled risks, and ensured absolute test flight safety. They fully carried out hazard identification from the aspects of test flight subjects, guarantee conditions, test flight environment, and guarantee equipment. Combined with the implementation progress of test flight subjects, they implemented risk mitigation and control measures into the test flight organization, strictly adhered to the bottom line of test flight safety, and ensured the safe and smooth completion of model test flight tasks. In order to search for special meteorological conditions, the development team traveled to Hailar, Nanchang, Erenhot, Sanya, Anshun, Liupanshui, Xichang, Xilinhot and other places, successfully completing special remote test flights including water, high altitude, high temperature and humidity, strong crosswind, typical fire extinguishing mission scenarios, and testing the aircraft's operational capabilities in special environments. The development team coordinated the flight test and ground test plans, fully and reasonably arranged the flight test subjects, carried out comprehensive flight tests, improved the efficiency of flight tests, and broke the record for flight tests in the research stage of domestically developed large aircraft. By conducting pre certification test flights, the development team successfully verified the performance of the AG600 aircraft platform, believing that its handling stability characteristics meet the design requirements, stall characteristics are better than expected indicators, and the aircraft's various system functions are reliable. It has the ability to extinguish fires in typical mission scenarios such as plains, hills, and plateaus. The AG600 aircraft is a large special purpose civilian aircraft independently developed by China to meet the urgent needs of forest firefighting and water rescue. It is a major aviation equipment urgently needed for the construction of the national emergency rescue system and natural disaster prevention and control system. The development of AG600 adheres to independent innovation and is based on domestic supporting facilities, which has improved the design capability and manufacturing level of large domestic special civil aircraft, promoted the leapfrog development of China's emergency rescue aviation equipment system, and has significant implications for promoting national economic development, building an aviation power, a maritime power, and a safe China.
