In 2024, the per capita disposable income of Guangdong residents will be 51474 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.4% (unless otherwise specified, all are nominal year-on-year growth rates); Excluding price factors, the actual growth was 4.4%. The per capita disposable income of urban residents was 61629 yuan, an increase of 3.9%; The per capita disposable income of rural residents was 26729 yuan, an increase of 6.3%, 2.4 percentage points faster than that of urban residents. By source, all four categories of income have achieved growth. In 2024, the per capita wage income of Guangdong residents will be 35084 yuan, an increase of 4.2%; Per capita net operating income was 6720 yuan, an increase of 6.2%; Per capita net income from property was 6553 yuan, an increase of 2.2%; The per capita net transfer income was 3117 yuan, an increase of 6.6%. In terms of consumption, the per capita consumption expenditure of Guangdong residents was 35818 yuan last year, an increase of 4.3%. Looking at urban and rural areas, the per capita consumption expenditure of urban residents was 41055 yuan, an increase of 4.4%; The per capita consumption expenditure of rural residents was 23057 yuan, an increase of 3.8%. According to the category of consumption, the eight major categories of consumer spending have "6 increases, 1 decrease, and 1 decrease". Among them, Guangdong residents' consumption expenditures on other goods and services, education, culture, entertainment, and healthcare grew rapidly, with growth rates of 20.0%, 12.0%, and 9.0%, respectively; The growth rates of consumer spending on daily necessities and services, food, tobacco and alcohol, and clothing remained stable, increasing by 5.6%, 5.2%, and 4.2% respectively; Transportation and communication consumption expenditure remained the same as the same period last year; Residential consumption expenditure decreased slightly by 0.3%. In terms of prices, in 2024, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Guangdong residents will remain unchanged from a 0.4% year-on-year increase in 2023. The core CPI, which excludes food and energy prices, rose by 0.1%, a decrease of 0.7 percentage points from 2023. From the perspective of monthly price trends, the month on month price of CPI in 2024 ranges from -1.0% to 1.1%, with an expanded range of fluctuations compared to the same period last year (-0.9% to 1.0%). The year-on-year increase or decrease in CPI for each month ranges from -1.2% to 0.8%, which has narrowed compared to the same period in 2023 (-0.4% to 2.7%). By category, the prices of the eight major categories of goods (services) that make up the CPI in 2024 have changed from "5 increases and 3 decreases" in the previous year to "6 increases and 2 decreases", with a range of -2.4% to 2.2%. Among them, education, culture, entertainment, and clothing prices increased by 1.0% and 2.2% respectively, driving the CPI up by about 0.11 and 0.10 percentage points, respectively, which are the main factors affecting the CPI increase. In 2024, the Producer Price Index (PPI) of Guangdong's industrial sector decreased by 1.6%, an increase of 0.1 percentage points compared to 2023.
