Some health care institutions combine medical care with lifestyle care to tailor suitable elderly care services for the elderly; Furthermore, fully tapping into the local natural and cultural resources endowment, promoting the development of cultural tourism and health care, not only enriches the health care choices of the elderly, but also explores a new path for local economic development. As the aging trend of China's population continues to strengthen and the elderly population continues to expand, health care has received more attention because it can better meet the needs of "happiness for old people". The continuous development of the health and wellness industry not only provides rich and refined services, but also gradually becomes a social consensus on the positive attitude of maintaining health and valuing wellness inherent in health and wellness. The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China proposed to "improve the policy mechanism for developing the elderly care industry and elderly care industry". Recently, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Opinions on Deepening the Reform and Development of Elderly Care Services", providing policy guidance and institutional guarantees for optimizing the supply of basic elderly care services. Promoting the high-quality development of the health and wellness industry is not only an inevitable step in response to the trend of population aging, but also an essential part of better meeting the growing needs of the people for a better life. The development of the health and wellness industry has broad prospects and great potential. According to relevant reports, from 2014 to 2050, the consumption scale of China's elderly population will increase from 4 trillion yuan to around 106 trillion yuan, and the market size of the elderly care industry is expected to exceed 20 trillion yuan by 2027. Faced with the booming market demand, many places are actively exploring innovation and making many beneficial attempts. For example, Zhengzhou City in Henan Province has planned and reserved 37 major elderly care projects around the development goal of "one elderly and one small" during the 14th Five Year Plan period. Through departmental linkage, social participation, and market operation, a home-based, community-based, and institution supplemented elderly care service model has been formed. Luoyang City has evaluated 150 community elderly care service facilities above Grade A, promoted the transformation of 30 township nursing homes into regional elderly care service centers, and accelerated the improvement of rural elderly care service supply capacity. In nursing homes in Shenzhen, a batch of smart devices with a strong sense of technology have been put into use. Electric transfer machines help elderly people safely transfer, portable bath machines solve elderly care problems, and rehabilitation robots develop targeted care plans for the elderly. Some health centers are also making efforts in differentiation, striving to create a three-dimensional landscape, and providing "life+health+happiness" butler style characteristic services to better meet people's demand for high-quality and healthy elderly care. Exploring the establishment and improvement of a national basic elderly care service list system, building a "Chinese style" elderly care service system coordinated by home and community institutions, and streamlining the supervision mechanism of elderly care services... One by one, practical and hard measures in the field of elderly care services have been continuously implemented and proven effective. In the future, to better achieve "elderly care and happiness", it is necessary to further deepen reforms, improve the elderly care service system, and better meet the multi-level and diversified health and elderly care needs of the elderly. In terms of hardware, we will strengthen the popularization and improvement of infrastructure equipment to provide a solid material foundation and guarantee for the health and care of the elderly; In terms of software, we will continue to promote the standardization and normalization of health and wellness services, while strengthening the construction of relevant talent teams. Through skills training, skills competitions, etc., we will improve the quality and level of the majority of practitioners.
