On January 5th, the Binlang Extra Large Bridge of the Kangyu section of the West Chongqing High speed Railway, constructed by China Railway Fourth Bureau, successfully closed over the continuous beam of the Baomao Expressway, laying the foundation for the timely completion and opening of the entire line. The West Chongqing High speed Railway is an important component of the national "Eight Verticals and Eight Horizontals" high-speed railway corridor, including the Baohai (Yinhai) and Jingkun corridors, with a total length of 739 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
