2025-01-03
According to the official WeChat account of the Ministry of Water Resources, it has recently issued Announcement No. 27 and No. 28 of 2024, approving the release of three water conservancy industry standards, including the "Guidelines for the Preparation of Approval Reports for Water Engineering Construction Planning". The three standards will be implemented from March 24, 2025. The Guidelines for the Preparation of Demonstration Reports for Approval Forms of Water Engineering Construction Planning (SL/T 719-2024) are revised based on the Guidelines for the Preparation of Demonstration Reports for Approval Forms of Water Engineering Construction Planning (SL/Z 719-2015), consisting of 8 chapters and 4 appendices. The main contents of this standard include the basic provisions for the preparation of the demonstration report of the consent for water project construction planning, the basic situation of the river (lake) where the water project is located, the water project construction scheme, the analysis of the compliance of the water project construction planning, the special demonstration of the water project construction planning, the analysis of the relevant impacts of water project construction, conclusions and suggestions, etc., which are applicable to the preparation of the demonstration report of the consent for water project construction planning for new construction, expansion, reconstruction and adjustment of the original functions. The implementation of this standard plays an important role in implementing the requirements of the Ministry of Water Resources' Order No. 31, regulating and strengthening the approval and licensing matters for water engineering construction planning. The Technical Regulations for Termite Prevention and Control in Water Conservancy Engineering (SL/T 836-2024) is a newly formulated water conservancy industry standard, consisting of 8 chapters and 3 appendices. This standard mainly includes ant situation inspection and monitoring, hazard level assessment, prevention and control measures, prevention and control construction, environmental protection, and acceptance of prevention and control projects. It is applicable to termite control technology work in water conservancy projects such as earth and rock dams, soil embankments, and canal embankments. The publication and implementation of this standard will provide technical support for ensuring the safety of water conservancy projects and ecological environment protection, and play an important role in regulating and strengthening termite control work in water conservancy projects. The Technical Guidelines for Determining Groundwater Control Indicators (SL/T 833-2024) is a newly developed water industry standard, consisting of 6 chapters and 4 appendices. The main technical content of this standard includes indicators for total groundwater intake control, groundwater level control, and groundwater control in key protection areas. It is applicable to the evaluation, planning, development, protection, and management of groundwater resources, as well as the determination of total groundwater intake control indicators and groundwater level control indicators for watersheds and regions. The publication and implementation of this standard is a powerful measure to implement the Water Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations on Groundwater Management. It plays an important guiding role in scientifically determining groundwater control indicators, strictly managing water resources, and improving groundwater management levels. (New Society)
