The reporter learned on December 30 that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Implementation Plan for Building the" 5G+Industrial Internet "512 Project Upgrade" (hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Plan"), which proposed that by 2027, "5G+Industrial Internet" will be widely integrated into key industries of the real economy, and the five capabilities of network facilities, technical products, integrated applications, industrial ecology and public services will be comprehensively improved, 10000 5G factories will be built, and no less than 20 pilot cities of "5G+Industrial Internet" integrated applications will be built. Since the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "5G+Industrial Internet" 512 Project Promotion Plan in 2019, the development of "5G+Industrial Internet" has achieved phased results. At present, the total number of 5G base stations in China exceeds 4 million. The construction of industry oriented 5G network infrastructure is accelerating. The number of "5G+Industrial Internet" projects in China exceeds 17000. "5G+Industrial Internet" has covered all 41 industrial categories, and 700 high-level 5G factories have been built. The relevant person in charge of the Information and Communication Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that at present, "5G+Industrial Internet" has entered a new stage of large-scale development. On the one hand, there are still problems of insufficient industrial supply and high comprehensive application costs, and the development of "5G+industrial Internet" is facing challenges. On the other hand, 5G-A technology accelerated its implementation, AI technology accelerated its empowerment of new industrialization, and industrial 5G independent private network exploration became more active, bringing new opportunities for the development of "5G+industrial Internet". The Implementation Plan guides the high-quality development of "5G+industrial Internet" in the new stage by upgrading the five major capabilities of network facilities, technical products, integrated applications, industrial ecology and public services. Among them, in terms of upgrading network infrastructure and enhancing basic support capabilities, we will accelerate the construction and application of industrial 5G virtual/hybrid private networks. Support large enterprises and special industries to adopt frequency resources that meet radio management requirements, pilot the construction of industrial 5G independent private networks, and accelerate the exploration and practice of industrial 5G independent private networks in facility construction, application innovation, business models, and other aspects.
