Looking back on 2024, the rapid development of the new military revolution in the world and the deepening of the practice of strengthening our military have put forward new requirements for military theory innovation and provided broad space. The main theme of the Military Forum has always been to encourage debate, stimulate ideas, uphold innovation, and serve practice. Over the past year, we have worked together with everyone to strike the ideological flint of a strong army winning the war with inspiring words, and to stir up the ideological storm of winning the war with scientific theories. The shadow of yesterday's war is not far away, the face of today's war is new, and the embryonic form of tomorrow's war has emerged. Where the focus of military struggle lies, the goal of military theoretical innovation lies. Currently, the driving force of the technological revolution on the military revolution is becoming increasingly prominent, especially with the multidimensional infiltration of high-tech in emerging fields into the military domain, leading to profound evolution in the mechanisms, elements, and methods of winning wars. Over the past year, we have persisted in learning the essence of China's excellent traditional military culture, focused on exploring the dazzling "treasure house" of China's military science, and relying on the column "Exploring the Way of Winning in China's Military Science", published series of articles such as "Learning the Wisdom of Winning from China's Excellent Traditional Military Culture", "Enduring the Precious Wisdom of China's Military Science", and "Mixed War Thoughts in Guan Guan's Strategies", to deeply explore the outstanding factors in China's traditional military culture, to ask the history how to win the war in awe, and to learn the wisdom of winning from classic works. We also analyzed traditional classic war cases from a contemporary perspective, especially planning special editions around celebrating the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the 79th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti Fascist War, to inherit and carry forward the glorious traditions and historical experience of our party and the people's army.
