On December 29th, China's first deep-sea multi-functional scientific research and cultural relic archaeological ship with fully independent intellectual property rights, the "Exploration No. 3", arrived at the Nanshan Port Public Science and Technology Research Pier in Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City, Sanya and was officially put into service. "Exploration No.3" is funded by the People's Government of Hainan Province and Sanya City, supported by the key research and development plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology during the "14th Five Year Plan" and the special research and development funds for strategic leading science and technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This ship is a new type of icebreaker that can guarantee multiple purposes such as deep-sea scientific exploration, manned deep diving, engineering operations, underwater archaeology, and rapid response.
