On December 18th, the Ministry of Justice of China and Vietnam held a seminar on judicial appraisal management via video conferencing. Chinese Deputy Minister of Justice Li Mingzheng and Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Justice Mei Liangkui attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Representatives from both China and Vietnam attending the seminar stated that under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of both parties, China Vietnam relations have maintained a positive development momentum. In recent years, the judicial departments of the two countries have had frequent exchanges, signing memorandums of understanding and annual cooperation plans. The exchange results have been rich and practical, contributing to the construction of a strategically significant China Vietnam community with a shared future through the rule of law. Li Mingzheng pointed out that the Chinese Ministry of Justice has deeply studied and implemented Xi Jinping's rule of law ideology, continuously deepened the reform of the judicial appraisal management system, improved the system, strengthened supervision, continuously improved the quality and credibility of judicial appraisal, fully played the functional role of the judicial appraisal system, and provided high-quality and efficient appraisal services to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the people and promote social fairness and justice. China and Vietnam exchanged views on three themes: "Establishment of the main body, admission registration conditions, and management mode of judicial appraisal institutions", "Admission registration conditions and practice requirements for judicial appraisers", and "General procedural requirements for judicial appraisal practice activities", achieving good results.
