In the southwestern port city of Gwadar, Pakistan, the Faqur Public School with red roofs and white walls is like a fairy tale garden, creating a paradise for the healthy and happy growth of local children. Faqu'er School was built with assistance from the China Peace and Development Foundation. Principal Parwen Navaz introduced that local children are very happy to attend this school. Every year, many parents come to enroll, and the school follows the principle of "not leaving any child behind". As long as there are children who have dropped out of school, they are accepted as much as possible. Entering a clean and tidy campus, the sounds of reading and playing can be heard, and the vitality and youthful spirit of children can be heard. In the eighth grade classroom, Sayba Asgar Ali, a female student wearing a red ribbon with the words "Literary Competition Champion," successfully seized the opportunity to answer questions and was loudly reciting English texts in front of the whole class. Saiba told reporters that she had seven sisters. If there were no such school, she might not have studied. Saiba happily said, "I really like my school. The school is well built, equipped with various teaching facilities, and the teachers teach well. Before this school, many children could only stay at home bored all day long." On September 16th, local students were attending classes at Faqur Public School in the Gwadar region of Pakistan. According to Xinhua News Agency (photo by Ahmed Kamal), Parwen said that another school in the Gwadar region is very far away from here. As most parents cannot afford the transportation to send their children to school, most children have to walk long distances to school, which also leads to many children dropping out of school. "With China's generous assistance, the education level in the region has significantly improved, and the lives of these children have undergone tremendous changes. Studying here plays a very positive role in shaping students' personalities and developing their future. The China Pakistan Economic Corridor directly benefits students and their families in the Gwadar region through this school." The reporter felt at the school site that the students were confident and generous, and actively and enthusiastically answered the reporter's questions. In the seventh grade classroom, students were practicing painting when they saw the reporter come in. Everyone proudly showed their paintings to the reporter. Art teacher Saba, who is currently teaching, told reporters that as her husband has long passed away, she is the only source of income for the family. The income from teaching at Faqur School allows her to support the whole family, and her children are also studying here. She is very grateful to China for building such a good school, which has given her a job and enabled her children to attend school. Xinhua News Agency (photo by Ahmed Kamal) Parwen said that the Chinese side has provided a lot of support to the school and her, allowing her to calmly face various challenges. According to her introduction, several teachers from the school have also received scholarships to study in China, which further enhances the teaching quality of the school. Saiba told reporters that she also wants to go to China to study like her teachers when she grows up. She aspires to become a doctor and serve the local residents. Thank you to China for building this school for us, which gave me the opportunity to attend school and helped me become a useful member of society
