Hong Kong Trade Development Council: Expected export growth of 4% by 2025

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council released its 2025 export outlook data on the 12th, expecting Hong Kong's exports to grow by 4% next year, with electronic product exports being the main growth engine. Data shows that Hong Kong's electronic product exports increased by 13.5% year-on-year in the first 10 months of this year. Benefiting from the sustained strong global demand for artificial intelligence systems, it is expected that the industry will maintain its upward trend next year. Hong Kong Trade Development Council Research Director Fan Wan'er said that electronic products will continue to be the main engine of Hong Kong's export growth next year, and the market is expected to launch a new generation of artificial intelligence smartphones, computers, and other digital devices, which will boost product sales.
