The plan proposes to build a spatial pattern for the protection and inheritance of Beijing's urban and rural historical and cultural heritage, based on the historical context and urban spatial evolution characteristics of Beijing, with "two mountains and one bay, two districts and two axes, and three belts and multiple areas". Protect the geological relics and landscape environment of Taihang Mountains and Yanshan Mountains.
