The laying operation speed can reach 1000 meters per hour, and the key components of the robot body are fully autonomous and controllable. In recent years, China's offshore new energy power generation has continued to develop and grow, and the construction of submarine cable laying is facing new challenges. The previous operation methods and scenarios are limited. Overseas underwater cable laying robots are unable to adapt to the sparse and soft soil in China's coastal areas, and there are problems such as easy subsidence and difficult movement. To meet the growing demand for underwater operations, research on underwater cable laying robots is urgently needed. In the sea, every meter of depth is a new attempt and test. To solve the problems of poor cable perception ability and short continuous operation time of underwater cable laying robots, the research and development team led by Guangdong Power Grid Company of Southern Power Grid has effectively solved the problem of robots traveling on soft soil seabeds, and the maximum burial speed has been nearly doubled compared to previous products.
