Li Qiang stated that the current global economic growth is weak, and economic globalization and multilateralism are hindered and challenged, leading to further uncertainty.   All parties should further focus on development, jointly create a peaceful and stable development environment, promote the improvement of global governance, maintain the stability and smoothness of the global supply chain, and cultivate new drivers of economic growth.
Li Qiang emphasized that China is a staunch defender of economic globalization and multilateralism. For a long time, the Chinese economy has continuously injected strong momentum into the world economy, increasingly showing distinct characteristics of its own development. Firstly, there is a stable growth operating mechanism, adhering to the principle of seeking progress while maintaining stability and long-term planning. We will increase our efforts in countercyclical adjustment, strengthen the implementation of macro policies, do everything possible to expand domestic demand, boost consumption, make greater efforts to solve prominent problems, and promote sustained economic recovery and improvement. Secondly, there is room for continuous growth, and new demands and driving forces will continue to emerge. We will further deepen reforms comprehensively, accelerate the construction of a unified national market, focus on promoting technological innovation and industrial innovation, and continuously enhance the endogenous driving force of the economy. The third is to have positive spillover effects and always share development opportunities with the world. We will steadfastly promote high-level opening up to the outside world, introduce more policies of independent and unilateral opening up, expand the network of high standard free trade zones facing the world, and continue to create a market-oriented, rule of law, and international first-class business environment. The underlying logic of the upward trend of the Chinese economy has not changed, and the principle of benefiting the world has not changed. This is the greatest certainty of the Chinese economy to the world economy.
Li Qiang pointed out that China is willing to work with all parties to uphold the basic norms of international relations and the multilateral trading system. China supports international economic organizations in playing an important role in global governance, and will actively undertake international obligations that match its own capabilities, jointly promoting the healthy and stable development of the world economy.
The heads of international economic organizations highly appreciate China's tremendous achievements in development, stating that the Chinese economy continues to improve, adheres to high-level opening-up, injects valuable stability and strong momentum into world peace and development, and is full of confidence in China's economic transformation and future.
