At the same time, it marks the official departure and internationalization of this set of hospital evaluation international standards formulated by the country and in line with international standards. He said that restarting the international hospital standard certification program for public hospitals in Hong Kong can improve the quality and safety of hospitals, ensure continuous improvement in management, services, and quality, meet international standards, and also mark a new step in the development of high-quality healthcare in Hong Kong. Lu Chongmao stated that the SAR government will continue to actively promote the International Standard Accreditation and Certification Scheme in the future. More public and private hospitals will participate in international standard accreditation and certification, which will not only help promote medical integration in the Greater Bay Area and integrate Hong Kong into the overall development of the country, but also fully leverage Hong Kong's advantages of being backed by the motherland and connected to the world, showcasing the excellence of national hospital accreditation standards to the international community.
