In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Supreme People's Procuratorate recently formulated and issued the "Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening Procuratorial Reform and Further Strengthening Procuratorial Work in the New Era". The Opinion deploys a series of measures for the procuratorial organs to serve the construction of a high-level socialist market economy system. Propose to improve the judicial protection system for property rights, prevent and correct the use of criminal means to intervene in economic disputes. The Opinion proposes to strengthen anti-monopoly and anti unfair competition justice, and promote the construction of a unified national market. Implement the principle of equal responsibility, crime, and punishment for acts that infringe upon various forms of economic property rights and legitimate interests, and promote the creation of a market-oriented, rule of law, and international first-class business environment. Adhere to and implement the "two unwavering" principles, ensuring that all forms of ownership of the economy use production factors equally in accordance with the law, participate in market competition fairly, and receive equal legal protection. Improve the judicial protection system for property rights, protect various forms of economic property rights on an equal and long-term basis in accordance with the law, prevent and correct the use of criminal means to intervene in economic disputes, and improve the mechanism for identifying and correcting wrongful cases involving enterprises in the procuratorial process in accordance with the law. Strengthen the judicial protection of intellectual property rights in high-tech, emerging industries, technological innovation and other fields, protect trade secrets in accordance with the law, strengthen the supervision of malicious intellectual property litigation, and safeguard the development of new quality productivity according to local conditions. Tong Jianming, Executive Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, stated that "preventing and correcting the use of criminal means to intervene in economic disputes" is a key task in the "Procuratorial Protection of Enterprises" special work deployed by the Supreme People's Procuratorate this year. The procuratorial organs will continue to implement and focus on supervising and correcting illegal confiscation and freezing of property, especially the issue of cross regional profit seeking law enforcement and judicial issues.
