The two countries have always treated each other sincerely, respected each other, and supported each other, and bilateral relations have maintained healthy and stable development. Next year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nepal. The Chinese side places the China Nepal relationship in an important position in its neighboring diplomacy, and is willing to uphold the original intention of establishing diplomatic relations with Nepal, consolidate traditional friendship, and promote new and greater development of the strategic cooperative partnership between China and Nepal towards development and prosperity.
Xi Jinping emphasized that China respects Nepal's choice of a development path that is in line with its national conditions, supports Nepal in safeguarding national independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and is willing to continuously consolidate strategic mutual trust with Nepal and firmly support each other on issues involving each other's core interests. The construction of a three-dimensional interconnected network between China and Nepal across the Himalayas is gradually becoming a reality. China is willing to continue to deepen practical cooperation with Nepal, jointly build the "the Belt and Road" with high quality, strengthen connectivity cooperation in ports, transportation, power grids, communications and other areas, help Nepal accelerate its transition from a "landlocked country" to a "landlocked country", continue to support Nepal's economic and social development within its capabilities, and encourage Chinese enterprises to invest in Nepal. China supports Nepal's announcement of 2025 as the "Nepal Tourism Year" in China and welcomes Nepalese friends to come to China for business, tourism, and study. China is also willing to strengthen multilateral coordination and cooperation with Nepal in the United Nations and other areas to safeguard the common interests of developing countries.
Oli stated that under the wise leadership of President Xi Jinping, China has achieved tremendous development achievements, which can be regarded as a miracle in the history of human progress. As a friend of China, Nepal is deeply proud and encouraged, and hopes to learn from China's successful experience and achieve its own development and prosperity. There is only friendship between Nepal and China, no problem. The relationship between the two countries is based on friendship, equality, and respect. Thank you to China for providing timely assistance and valuable support to Nepal, helping it transform from a landlocked country to a landlocked country. Nigeria is willing to continue to actively participate in the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", welcome more Chinese enterprises to invest in Nigeria, and deepen practical cooperation in various fields. The series of important initiatives proposed by China, such as the Global Development Initiative, are beneficial for humanity to jointly address the current complex international situation and global challenges.
