In some areas, elderly care resources have not been efficiently utilized after investment, and there is even a phenomenon of idle waste. At the same time, previously, the release of elderly care information in various regions of China was carried out independently, with some information updates not being timely, technical standards not being unified, and data not being interconnected, objectively forming "information islands" for elderly care. These issues have constrained the high-quality development of elderly care services in China. The launch of this platform will connect these "isolated islands" and achieve a nationwide "chess game" of elderly care through the "high-speed running" of elderly care service information. It can provide more comprehensive information services for elderly care institutions and the elderly population nationwide, allowing them to "adapt to their needs". Building and continuously improving the national elderly care service information platform is a major social livelihood project related to improving the level of elderly care services, ensuring social stability and harmonious development. Firstly, the platform can effectively enhance the level of government services in the elderly care field, improve the ability of all parties involved to timely grasp policy information, service queries, and other dynamic information, and improve the efficiency and convenience of government services. This will provide more convenient and high-quality elderly care services for the vast elderly population and improve the quality and efficiency of elderly care services. Fourthly, the platform effectively connects with the elderly care service information of various provinces (cities), prefectures (cities), and counties (cities) across the country, integrates national elderly care service data resources, and continuously promotes functional iteration and information updates to achieve cross regional and cross level "interconnection" of elderly care service information across the country, improving service and security levels. At present, the national elderly care service information platform has just gone out of trial operation and entered the formal operation stage, and various functions are still in the exploration and optimization stage. In the future, different departments and institutions can strengthen information sharing and collaboration, strive to break down "data silos" and "data chimneys", and enhance the smooth flow and timely updating of various elderly care service information.
