China aided primary schools contribute to children's education in Botswana

2024-11-27

Mopani Primary School, located in Queenan District, southern Botswana, is a modern school assisted by China. The total construction area is 7400 square meters, which was handed over to Bofang in 2021 and enrollment began. The school currently has over 800 students and has received widespread praise from parents and students for its excellent facilities and outstanding teaching performance. Mopani Primary School is one of the four primary schools built by China in Botswana. The other three are Gubang Primary School, Dinokuane Primary School and Ramaeba Primary School which was just delivered to Botswana at the end of October. The primary schools built with China's assistance have helped solve the problem of children's "difficulty in going to school" in local areas, effectively improved the educational conditions of children in Botswana, and provided strong support for the development of basic education in Botswana.
