According to the report, Türkiye UAV manufacturer Baykal Technology Company announced the demonstration on November 19 on social media and shared the flight video. This test was conducted at the Akzaz Naval Base in the Mediterranean. The TB-3 unmanned combat aerial vehicle was specifically developed for use on the Anadolu. This drone is 8.35 meters long and has foldable wings that are 14 meters long. It weighs 1600 kilograms and has a payload of 280 kilograms. The aircraft has a cruising speed of 125 knots and six mounting points for ammunition. According to information shared by Baycar Technologies, the second prototype of TB-3 took off from runway "Anadolu", which has a 12 degree slope. The drone landed on the ship after 46 minutes of flight and does not require any landing support equipment. The TB-3 is powered by the PD-170 engine of Türkiye Tusash Engineering Industry Co., Ltd. Before taking off and landing on the Anadolu, the drone had already conducted over 700 hours of test flights on land. (New Society)
