The reporter learned from the Ministry of Public Security on the 21st that recently, the Ministry of Public Security deployed Yunnan public security organs to strengthen police law enforcement cooperation with relevant local law enforcement departments in Myanmar. For the first time, 1079 suspect of cross-border telecommunications network fraud were arrested in Dangyang, Myanmar, including 763 Chinese suspect. At present, all Chinese suspect have been handed over to us. Last year, since the Ministry of Public Security deployed the special work to crack down on telecommunications network fraud crimes involving China in northern Myanmar, China and Myanmar have captured more than 53000 Chinese fraud suspect through police law enforcement cooperation and a series of crackdowns, and all large-scale fraud parks in northern Myanmar near China's border have been eradicated. Under the strong crackdown and deterrence, fraudsters continue to transfer to deep areas such as Wanhai, Dangyang, and Miaowadi in Myanmar, continuing to recruit and lure domestic personnel to illegally leave the country to participate in electronic fraud crimes, and giving rise to serious violent criminal activities such as illegal detention, intentional injury, and even kidnapping and murder, seriously endangering the life and property safety of Chinese citizens. The Ministry of Public Security deployed Yunnan public security organs to continue to strengthen police law enforcement cooperation, and cooperated with relevant local law enforcement departments in Myanmar to carry out crackdown operations. On November 17, 763 Chinese suspect involved in fraud were captured in Dangyang, Myanmar, including 69 fugitives online, and a large number of crime tools such as computers, mobile phones, and fraud scripts were seized. On November 19, relevant suspect and articles involved in the case were handed over to us through Yonghe Port in Lincang, Yunnan. The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Public Security stated that the public security organs will continue to maintain a high-pressure situation in cracking down on cross-border telecommunications network fraud crimes, especially in the gathering areas of fraud dens such as Wanhai, Dangyang, and Miaowadi in Myanmar. They will further increase police law enforcement cooperation and resolutely eradicate the "cancer" of telecommunications network fraud crimes involving China. At the same time, the public security organs remind the general public not to easily trust high paying recruitment information from overseas, to avoid falling into the trap of illegal and criminal activities, and to effectively safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.
