The China Architecture Technology Exhibition with the theme of "Technology Empowering a Better Life, Innovation Leading China's Construction" is currently being held in Beijing. Li Qiang walked into the exhibition hall to visit the model rooms of newly built and renovated houses, as well as the new agricultural and residential products of Hemei Township. Li Qiang emphasized that the current development of housing in China is shifting from "whether there is" to "whether it is good or not". It should be guided by improving the quality and happiness of residents' living, and fully consider the needs of different living habits, age groups, economic abilities, and other groups, especially the new needs of aging and child friendliness. We should promote the construction of good houses according to local conditions, strengthen standard guidance and technological empowerment to build new houses into good houses, and also transform old houses into good houses through scientific transformation.
During the research, Li Qiang inspected the model houses and photovoltaic walls of the "house vehicle network" integrated green intelligent residential products, listened to the introduction of new technologies and applications such as handling robots and aerial building machines, and inquired in detail about the design, construction technology, construction costs, and supporting services of the houses. Li Qiang pointed out that the application of advanced technologies such as new generation information technology, new materials, new energy, and equipment manufacturing is driving the construction revolution and energy revolution. We must vigorously promote technological innovation, put more effort into green, intelligent, and industrial transformation, comprehensively improve the level of design, construction, and maintenance, and promote high-quality development of the real estate and construction industries.
When watching exhibitions such as the historical preservation and urban renewal project of Jianguo East Road in Shanghai, and the modular houses of "original demolition and original construction" at No. 8 Huapi Factory Hutong in Beijing, Li Qiang stated that urban renewal is an important task facing current urban construction and contains enormous development potential. We need to combine improving people's livelihoods with expanding domestic demand, strengthen coordination and cooperation among all parties, promote planning innovation, improve standards and regulations, increase policy support for housing construction, and focus on renovating old urban communities, villages, and dilapidated houses to improve the living environment.
