Sao Paulo, November 13 (Xinhua) -- A series of cultural exchange activities between China and Latin America were recently held in Peru and Brazil, according to a report by Xinhua's overseas reporters. Rich and colorful cultural activities deepen cultural exchanges and mutual learning, and enhance people to people connectivity between China and Latin America. On the 6th, 2024, the China Latin America Civilization Dialogue was held in Lima, the capital of Peru. More than 150 political leaders, experts, scholars, and business people from more than 10 Latin American countries, including China, Peru, and Argentina, conducted discussions and exchanges around the forum theme of "Civilization Inheritance and Modernization Development", providing intellectual support and exploring cooperation paths for China and Latin America to strengthen cultural exchanges, mutual learning, inheritance and development, and work together on the path of modernization. On the same day, the launch ceremony of the "China Time slot" and "China Audiovisual Exhibition Month" in Peru was held in Lima. The signing and launch of the "China time slot" in Peru is the fourth "TV China Theater" opened in Latin American countries, which will bring dozens of excellent Chinese audio-visual programs such as "The Three Body Problem", "Mountain and Sea Love", and "The Story of Roses" to Peruvian audiences. On that day, a series of activities were held at the event site, including the launch ceremony of the Spanish version of "The Three Body Problem" in Latin America, the voice over show of "The Three Body Problem", the launch ceremony of the international version of "Aerial View of New Chongqing", and the "Light and Shadow New Chongqing" video exhibition. On the 11th, the launch ceremony of the "Beautiful China, Beautiful Brazil" brochure and the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition were held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The album and photo exhibition revolves around the theme of "China and Brazil moving forward hand in hand, not far away from mountains and seas". Through four parts: "Time flows long and mountains and rivers are vast", "Human culture gathers and civilization symphonies", "Forge ahead and learn from each other", and "Crossing mountains and seas to create a new chapter", it focuses on showcasing the natural scenery, historical culture, economic and trade exchanges, cultural exchanges, and cooperation achievements between China and Brazil. On the 12th, the "China Pakistan Youth Story Club" was held at the University of S ã o Paulo in Brazil, where more than 200 teachers, students, and people from all walks of life engaged in lively discussions on deepening cultural exchanges between China and Pakistan.
