On the 14th, the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption held the opening ceremony of the "1974" caf é, hoping that citizens and tourists can not only taste the famous "ICAC coffee", but also learn more about anti-corruption work. The "1974" caf é is located in the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption building in North Point, Hong Kong, providing customers with coffee and snacks. Its nostalgic style decoration incorporates Hong Kong style elements such as neon lights, and also provides specially designed themed photo frames for citizens to take photos as souvenirs. In the touch based interactive education zone, visitors can browse anti-corruption law enforcement, institutional prevention, and integrity education through interactive screens. Some real evidence and case investigation tools are also exhibited to the public. It is understood that "1974" is the year when the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) was established and also the year when "ICAC Coffee" began to be supplied. The Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption hopes that coffee shops can become a new base for disseminating anti-corruption information and spreading integrity messages. In his speech, Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption Commissioner Hu Yingming stated that the ICAC focuses on law enforcement, anti-corruption, publicity and education, and with the support of the government and citizens, has made Hong Kong one of the cleanest cities in the world. I hope that citizens can enjoy coffee easily while also seeing the past, present, and future development of the ICAC. The Secretary for Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Lin Dingguo, stated that after the coffee shop opens, it will further bring the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption and the public closer, which will greatly help promote a culture of integrity and honesty.
