2024-11-14
On the 13th, during the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, China Aero Engine Group held the AES100 product release and general aviation power product promotion meeting, officially released the AES100 engine product, and focused on promoting the 10 general aviation power products. Aircraft engines are the "heart" of airplanes, and turboshaft engines are mainly installed in various types of helicopters. The AES100 engine is China's first advanced civil turboshaft engine independently developed in strict accordance with international airworthiness standards and has complete independent intellectual property rights. It has been awarded the Civil Aviation Administration of China's model certificate. The AES100 engine is designed with a power of 1100 kW and a first flip period of 3000 hours. It uses advanced materials and functional components, and has advantages such as high efficiency, low fuel consumption, long life, and high safety. It can meet the power requirements of dual engine 5 to 6 ton helicopters and single engine 3 to 4 ton helicopters, and its comprehensive performance has reached the international advanced level. Li Fanqi, the chief designer of AES100 engine, introduced that the AES100 civil turboshaft engine adopts advanced compressor, turbine aerodynamic design, bearing common cavity, under ring fuel supply, integrated accessory transmission and other structural design technologies, and is equipped with a health management system with performance prediction, life management and other functions. It can work safely and stably under complex conditions such as icing, rainstorm and strong electromagnetic environment. The equipped helicopter can perform multiple tasks such as patrol, rescue, sightseeing and business flight. It has strong environmental adaptability and broad application prospects. In addition, the AES100 engine can be further improved and modified, which can lead to the development of 900 kW turboprop engines, 1000 kg thrust turbofan engines, and 1000 kW ground light gas engines for use in small and medium-sized turboprop aircraft, jet business jets, and ground mobile power stations.
