2024-11-13
On the evening of the 12th local time, the 9th German "Chinese Quyi Week" Berlin Quyi Evening Gala was held at the Berlin Chinese Cultural Center, featuring the humorous and witty plot of "Visiting Relatives" in the Northern Jiangsu Qinshu, the beautiful singing style of "Zhiyin" in Suzhou Tanci, and the strong grassland cultural atmosphere created by Haolaibao's "Jianger". More than 200 overseas Chinese and German friends watched the performance together. Zeng Yingru, the Ambassador of the Chinese Embassy in Germany, stated in her speech that civilizations are colorful and enriched through exchanges and mutual learning. China and Germany have extensive exchanges and cooperation in the field of art and culture, and have achieved many gratifying results. I hope that Quyi, an art performance form deeply rooted in Chinese folk culture and widely loved by ordinary people, can also be welcomed by German friends. I also look forward to the excellent cultural brand of "Chinese Quyi Week" in Germany continuing to build a bridge of friendship for cultural exchanges between China and Germany. Sun Qinhang, director of the Chinese Culture Center in Berlin, said that as a treasure of Chinese traditional culture, Quyi, with its unique artistic form and rich forms of expression, vividly conveys the spiritual outlook and life philosophy of the Chinese people. Since 2013, the Berlin Chinese Cultural Center has collaborated with the Chinese Quyi Artists Association to jointly host 9 sessions of the "Chinese Quyi Week" in Germany. It is hoped that through this cross-cultural artistic dialogue, the friendship and spiritual connection between the Chinese and German people will be further strengthened. The evening party was hosted by Zhang Xudong, Vice Chairman of the China Quyi Artists Association and a national first-class actor. Many Quyi performers brought exciting and diverse programs, covering various art forms such as cross-talk, qin shu, Nanyin, and Suzhou danci. The performer of the cross-talk show 'Foreigners Look at China', Yego, comes from Ukraine and has lived and worked in China for more than ten years. In an interview with a reporter from China News Service, he said that although Chinese is difficult to learn, once he immerses himself in Chinese life, he will become increasingly fond of China. He believes that cross-talk contains a variety of Chinese art and cultural knowledge, and hopes to attract more foreign friends to learn about Chinese culture through cross-talk. We were fortunate enough to enjoy a wonderful Chinese folk art evening tonight The German audience, Mr. and Mrs. Bu Hoyer, said that even if they don't speak the same language, they can still experience the humor and joy in the actors' movements, expressions, and tone changes, and feel the atmosphere and emotions of the story. It is reported that on November 14th, the Chinese Quyi Art Troupe will also perform in Stuttgart. (New Society)
