The reporter learned from Qingyuan Maglev Transportation Co., Ltd. that on November 5th, Qingyuan Maglev held a production deployment meeting and proposed to strengthen safety hazard investigation to ensure that Qingyuan Maglev is officially put into operation before the opening of Qingyuan Chimelong Scenic Area. The Qingyuan Maglev Tourism Line is the first medium low speed maglev tourism line in Guangdong Province, connecting the Guangqing Intercity Yinzhan Station and the Qingyuan Changlong Scenic Area. It has three stations: Maglev Yinzhan Station, Hudeiwan Station, and Maglev Changlong Station. The special line trains are composed of three cars and can achieve 3+3 coupled operation. The designed speed of the vehicles is 120 kilometers per hour. After completion, it will achieve rapid access between the Guangqing Intercity Yinzhan Station and the Qingyuan Changlong Scenic Area, providing convenience for tourists and residents traveling along the line. Recently, during the exchange speech session of the Provincial Tourism Development Conference, Gong Liangqing, President of Guangdong Chimelong Group Co., Ltd., revealed that the first phase of the Changlong project in Qingyuan aims to open before the Spring Festival of 2025.
