Yang Xuetao stated that according to the requirements of the "Several Opinions on Stimulating the Vitality of Ice and Snow Economy through High Quality Development of Ice and Snow Sports" released today, the General Administration of Sport of China will mainly consider three aspects: first, increase the supply of high-level ice and snow events, encourage localities to hold, host or apply for high-level ice and snow events such as the World Figure Skating Grand Prix, the Chinese Curling League, the International Skating Union Speed Skating World Cup, the International Ski Federation Snowboarding and Freestyle Skiing Grand Jumping World Cup according to local conditions, organize "National Popular Ice and Snow Season" activities, guide localities to hold various forms and rich content of ice and snow activities, and better meet the needs of the public. Secondly, we will promote the integration and development of sports events with related industries, organize "travel with sports events" activities in conjunction with Harbin Asian Winter Games and other related ice and snow events, release the "travel with sports events" 2024-2025 National Ice and Snow Season Activity Catalog, promote the integration of sports events with culture, tourism, and business, further unleash the potential of sports economy, expand ice and snow and related consumption.
