After the four rounds of matches on the 4th, the Chinese young chess player temporarily took the lead in total score. According to the Chinese team leader and coach Shenyang, the 8 selected players for this round include national team players, as well as champions of the U8, U10, and U12 age groups of the National Youth Championships, top ranked players in international level scores, and recommended outstanding players. Since 2014, the tournament has been held regularly in rotation between China and Russia, where young chess players from both countries can compete and observe the matches of outstanding grandmasters. This is the second time that the competition has settled in Harbin, which will promote the progress of international chess projects in Harbin and even Heilongjiang Province, allowing more Russian friends to understand the culture and customs of Harbin, a Chinese city with distinctive Russian characteristics. It will further deepen the understanding and friendship between young people from China and Russia, and promote practical cooperation between the two regions. This competition is hosted by the Chess and Card Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the China International Chess Association, organized by the Social Sports Guidance and Chess and Card Sports Management Center of Heilongjiang Province, and co organized by the Heilongjiang Chess and Card Association.
