On November 5th, in the golden autumn season of Shanghai, the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) once again became the focus of global attention. At a critical period of global economic recovery, the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) has arrived as scheduled, with the theme of "New Era, Shared Future", attracting exhibitors and buyers from all over the world to witness this top-level event in the field of international trade. According to statistics, the first six editions of the CIIE have attracted a total of 181 countries and regions to participate, with about 16000 companies exhibiting. The 7th CIIE continued to maintain a super large exhibition area, with an overall exhibition display area of over 420000 square meters. In terms of enterprise exhibitions, a total of six exhibition areas and innovation incubation zones were set up, including food and agricultural products, automobiles, technological equipment, consumer goods, medical equipment and healthcare, and service trade, attracting 3496 exhibitors from 129 countries and regions, including 297 Fortune 500 and industry leading enterprises, setting a new record. The active participation of these enterprises and exhibitors not only demonstrates their firm confidence and enthusiasm for continuous participation in the CIIE, but also reflects the importance and expectations of countries around the world for the Chinese market. In addition to trading goods and services, the CIIE is also an important platform for cultural and ideological exchange. The exhibition area of the cultural exchange activities at the 7th CIIE exceeded 32000 square meters, which is the largest in history. 77 countries and international organizations participated in the national exhibition, with France, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Uzbekistan and other countries serving as guest of honor. These countries showcase their cultural characteristics and development achievements through national exhibitions, allowing audiences to not only appreciate the exhibits but also gain a deeper understanding of the cultures and traditions of different countries.
