France's satellite ground laser communication test successful

According to foreign media reports, the French Defense Innovation Agency and a French commercial company have jointly completed high-speed optical communication experiments between low orbit satellites and ground stations, and plan to provide this service to the public. The French Ministry of Defense stated that the project will help enhance France's space capabilities. In recent years, satellite ground laser communication has received increasing attention. Laser communication can transmit large amounts of data in a short period of time, while the communication lines are protected from physical attacks.
