According to foreign media reports, a US technology company has designed a miniature all electric multi-purpose drone for the US Army's long-range reconnaissance project, which can be converted from an unmanned reconnaissance aircraft to an unmanned bomber within minutes. The P550 all electric drone adopts a modular design, allowing users to quickly plug and unplug payloads, including batteries, sensors, and other devices, within minutes. This drone integrates advanced onboard technologies such as autopilot, "Viper" electronic warfare module, and navigation system. It can carry a payload of 15 pounds (6.8 kilograms) and can fly for 5 hours on a single charge, with a flight distance of 60 kilometers. According to reports, the P550 all electric drone can perform forward strike missions as an unmanned bomber, and can throw grenades and some precision guided ammunition at targets.
