On November 1st, President Xi Jinping and UAE President Mohammed exchanged congratulatory messages to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Xi Jinping pointed out that China and Arab countries are good friends of mutual trust and good partners for win-win cooperation. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations 40 years ago, China Arab relations have maintained healthy and stable development, political mutual trust between the two countries has been continuously consolidated, development strategies have been deeply aligned, practical cooperation in various fields has yielded fruitful results, cultural exchanges are close, and good communication and coordination have been maintained in regional and international affairs. During Mr. President's state visit to China in May this year, we reached important consensus and pointed out the direction for the development of China Arab relations in the next stage. I attach great importance to the development of China Arab relations and would like to work with Mr. President to take the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as a new starting point to promote China Arab comprehensive strategic partnership to a higher level and make greater contributions to promoting regional and world peace and stability while better benefiting the Chinese and Arab peoples.
Mohammed expressed that on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and China, I would like to extend my sincerest congratulations and best wishes to President Xi Jinping, wishing the two countries continuous development, prosperity, and more cooperation in various fields. The Afghan side has always been committed to consolidating and developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Afghanistan and China for the benefit of the two peoples.
Li Qiang expressed that China is willing to work hand in hand with Afghanistan, taking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Afghanistan as an opportunity to implement the important consensus reached between President Xi Jinping and President Mohammed, and continuously enrich the connotation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Afghanistan.
Mohammed stated that Afghanistan is willing to deepen bilateral relations with China and strengthen cooperation in various fields.
