The reporter learned from the Macao Special Administrative Region Identification Bureau and the Administrative Public Service Bureau that the Macao Special Administrative Region Government and the Executive Committee of the Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone jointly opened the Macao Government 24-hour self-service center in Hengqin's "Macao New Neighborhood" on the 24th. The center aims to provide more convenient cross-border government services for Macau residents working, studying, living, and developing in the Hengqin Guangdong Macau Deep Cooperation Zone, with the goal of "cross-border certificate processing and universal access". The center is located at shops 2-6, 370-378 Xiangshun Road, Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone. This is another dynamic practice and important achievement of the cooperation zone in implementing the Overall Plan for the Construction of Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone, promoting the orderly connection of public services and social security systems with Macao, and building a new space that facilitates the life and employment of Macao residents. At the same time, the center has a remote service counter, which facilitates Macau residents to handle cross-border affairs through video conferencing in Hengqin. Macau residents can apply for identity documents regardless of whether they are in Macau or Hengqin, and can also choose to collect documents at designated offices or service centers in Macau or Hengqin.
