In Yinchuan, Ningxia, Li Qiang came to the Ningxia Desert Greening and Sand Industry Development Base to listen to reports on the promotion of the Yellow River "Several Bends" Ningxia Campaign and desertification control in the whole region. He walked into the forest and sat around to exchange ideas with desert control heroes such as Wang Youde. Li Qiang highly praised the local cadres and masses for decades of relay efforts in sand prevention and control, creating the miracle of "green progress and sand retreat". In Ordos and Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, Li Qiang conducted on-site research on the comprehensive management of soil and water conservation in the Longtouguai Ecological Clean Small Watershed of Xiliugou, the construction of a locked edge forest belt on the northern edge of the Kubuqi Desert, the ecological management of the front slope of Daqing Mountain, the scientific research and promotion of grass seed industry by Mengcao Group, and the technological innovation of Yili Smart Health Valley dairy industry. He stressed that it is of great significance to further promote the construction of projects such as the "three north" shelter forest system and build an important ecological security barrier in northern China.
