Wang Huning went to the People's Hospital of Hotan Prefecture, the 12th Primary School of Hotan City, and Taitu'er Village in Tazihong Township, Shule County to investigate the situation of ethnic unity work. He stated that ethnic unity should be implemented in grassroots governance, school education, and daily life of the masses, and the sense of community of the Chinese nation should be implanted into the hearts of children from an early age, promoting all ethnic groups to embrace each other tightly like pomegranate seeds. When conducting research on Kungang Economic and Technological Development Zone and related enterprises in Hotan Prefecture, he stated that it is necessary to build a modern industrial system with distinctive advantages of southern Xinjiang, cultivate a group of enterprises with long industrial chains and strong driving capabilities, promote the improvement of people's livelihoods, and enhance development vitality. When conducting research at the Business Service Center of Kashgar Area in China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Central and Western Asia International Trade Market, he stated that Xinjiang needs to find a unique path of opening up and build a bridgehead for China's westward opening up. During his research at Hotan University, Xinjiang Institute of Technology (in preparation), and the Xinquan Campus of Kashgar University in Xinjiang, he expressed the need to improve higher education in Xinjiang, especially in southern Xinjiang, and cultivate more high-quality talents. Wang Huning also visited the site of the Rewak Buddhist Temple in Luopu County and the Kashgar City Planning Museum to learn about the protection and utilization of historical relics, as well as the planning and construction of urban cultural and sports facilities. During the research period, Wang Huning stated that the Party Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has thoroughly implemented the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping on Xinjiang work, further consolidating the good situation of social stability and people's well-being in Xinjiang.
