On the afternoon of October 24th, the 4th "China Art Award" ceremony, hosted by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Artists Association, was held at the National Museum of China. Tie Ning, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, attended the award ceremony. A total of 9 gold prizes, 14 silver prizes and 17 bronze prizes were awarded during the selection of the current "China Arts Awards". The theme sculptures of the CPC History Exhibition Hall, "Banner", "Faith", "Great Cause", "Difficulties", "Dream Chasing" and the painted mural "Ode to the Great Wall", won special awards from the jury. The "China Art Award" aims to recognize outstanding art works that express the times and the people's emotions, encourage and guide art workers to climb the artistic peak, and write a never-ending epic of the people. At the award ceremony, the "China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Lifetime Achievement Award" was also presented to six highly respected veteran artists, including Lin Gang, Zhou Shaohua, Sheng Yang, Wen Lipeng, Xiao Feng, and Tuomusi.
