This equipment can achieve the inspection of all 41000 tons of commercial coal loaded onto 10 trains on the same day. This is the latest application of new coal quality rapid inspection technology in the coal industry. On that day, the "Fusion Spectral Coal Quality Rapid Detection Technology" jointly developed by China National Energy Group and Hikvision, a subsidiary of China Electronics Technology Group, was released in Beijing. This means that China's coal quantity and quality control field has entered the era of artificial intelligence, and for the first time, it has been successfully demonstrated and applied in the entire industry chain of coal production, electricity, transportation, chemical industry, etc. Coal is the cornerstone of China's energy, and coal quality data is the key foundational data for coal production, sales settlement, and utilization. For a long time, traditional coal quality detection techniques that rely on chemical methods have faced many problems such as complex processes, large operational differences, long processes, and long settlement cycles. A train of coal is loaded from upstream and sent out, and then unloaded and inspected by downstream coal using units. It undergoes at least two inspections, and it is difficult to ensure the consistency of coal quality inspection results between upstream and downstream, which has long been a problem for both buyers and sellers. It is reported that the fast detection technology released this time can online detect the calorific value, total sulfur, ash content, total water and other indicators of 6mm coal samples. After the entire train is sampled, the detection results can be obtained in just 2 minutes, while the traditional detection cycle takes at least 8 hours; The representativeness of the samples has been exponentially enhanced, and the coal detection capacity of a single train can reach over 1 ton, which is millions of times higher than the traditional detection capacity of 1 gram of coal sample; And the entire process realizes automatic unmanned intervention, changing the complex process of traditional sampling, sample preparation, and laboratory testing. On the same day, Liu Guoyue, Chairman of the National Energy Group, stated that compared with traditional testing, this technology has overcome multiple difficulties in one fell swoop. Currently, it has achieved rapid settlement of over 10 million tons of coal in multiple partners. In the future, it will further extend to "big models and big platforms", create a comprehensive and all time national level quality sharing service platform, and expand to other bulk commodity testing fields. It is reported that in 2024, 10 product equipment will be demonstrated and applied in 9 units including the four major coal producing areas, ports, sales, power plants, and chemical industries of the National Energy Group, with a coal detection capacity of over 400 million tons.
