On October 22nd, the launch ceremony of the Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture Learning and Experience Activity for religious figures was held in Anyang City, Henan Province. Chen Ruifeng, Deputy Minister of the Central United Front Work Department and Director of the State Administration for Religious Affairs, attended and delivered a speech. Yan Jue, President of the Buddhist Association of China, Li Guangfu, President of the Taoist Association of China, Yang Inventor, President of the Islamic Association of China, Li Shan, President of the Patriotic Catholic Association of China, and Wu Wei, President of the Christian Council of China, led the delegation to attend. The attendees expressed that they should take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as guidance, deeply understand the important discourse spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping on strengthening cultural confidence, inheriting and developing excellent traditional Chinese culture, and building a Chinese discourse and narrative system, and lead the religious community in China to strengthen historical and cultural confidence, consciously draw nourishment from excellent traditional Chinese culture, and consolidate the ideological foundation for the healthy inheritance of religion in China. We must continue to promote the spirit of patriotism, adhere to the infiltration of excellent traditional Chinese culture into Chinese religions, and promote the continuous deepening and implementation of the sinicization of Chinese religions, in order to better adapt to socialist society. This learning experience activity is organized by the Central United Front Work Department for 7 days, with more than 140 religious representatives participating.
