In order to promote the work of the united front in Huidong to new heights and create new achievements, and better serve the high-quality development of Huidong's economy and society, the United Front Work Department of Huidong County Committee held a training course on enhancing the ability of united front and ethnic and religious work in 2024 from October 16th to 20th. The training course was conducted through a combination of theoretical learning and on-site investigation. More than 30 members of the United Front Work Committee from various townships (streets) in the county, representatives from the New Alliance, Knowledge Alliance, Democratic League, religion, private economy, and leading cadres from the United Front Work Department of the county committee attended. At the Party School of Huidong County Committee, we will adopt centralized teaching, video teaching, exchange and discussion, and symposiums to study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important ideas on doing a good job in the united front work of the Party in the new era, the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the rich connotation of forging the consciousness of the Chinese nation as a whole. At demonstration sites such as Wangjiaping Village in Jinsha Lisu Township, Leyue Town Pipa Industrial Park, Shengxin Hall, and Fenghuang Community in Dezhou Street, students gained a detailed understanding of the advanced practices and achievements of the united front in Dechang County, which is based on local geographical and resource advantages, gathers the strength of united front members, and promotes economic and social development. In Mianning County, students went to the Yi Sea Alliance with reverence for in-depth investigation and learning. They drew strength from the magnificent historical picture and inherited the red gene with loyalty and responsibility, making the brilliance symbolizing national unity and revolutionary spirit shine brightly in the journey of the new era. At Lingshan Temple in Mianning County, I learned about Mianning County's adherence to the direction of sinicization of religion in China, as well as its experience and practices in protecting and excavating religious historical and cultural resources. In Xichang City, the training group went to Haihe Community, Xincun Street, Xichang City with full enthusiasm and strong thirst for knowledge, carefully observed the governance mode and service innovation measures of the community, and learned advanced community management experience. Next, we will go to the Chamber of Commerce in Yuezhou to have in-depth exchanges with its members, understand the positive contributions of the Chamber of Commerce in promoting local economic development and enterprise cooperation, and accumulate valuable knowledge and experience for our own development and progress. Subsequently, we will visit Lingying Temple to appreciate the profound cultural heritage and historical inheritance of religion, and contemplate the path of harmonious development between religion and society. Finally, come to Dashiban Community in Hainan Street, experience the unique atmosphere of ancient charm and modern vitality intertwined, and learn from the successful practices of Dashiban Community in cultural inheritance and tourism development. This training activity is rich in content and diverse in form, providing valuable learning opportunities for united front workers and representatives from all walks of life in Huidong County. Through theoretical learning and on-site investigation of multiple demonstration sites in Dechang County, Mianning County, and Xichang City, students gained a deep understanding of the advanced practices and achievements of the united front in promoting economic and social development, inheriting red genes, adhering to the direction of sinicization of religion, promoting ethnic unity, innovating community governance, promoting the development of chambers of commerce, and promoting cultural inheritance and tourism development. During the training process, the trainees actively communicated and thought carefully, combining what they learned and felt with the actual situation in Huidong County, accumulating rich experience and inspiration for the further development of the united front work in Huidong County. This training not only enhanced the students' professional abilities and comprehensive qualities, but also injected new vitality and motivation into the united front work in Huidong County. I believe that in future work, the united front workers and representatives from all walks of life in Huidong County will take this training as an opportunity to fully leverage the advantages and role of the united front, and contribute their own strength to promote Huidong's united front work to new heights, create new achievements, and better serve the high-quality development of Huidong's economy and society.
