Independent research and development! China's' Smart Eye 'system will carry out intelligent monitoring and early warning of pests and diseases
2024-10-21
The reporter learned from the Aerospace Information Innovation Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences that China's self-developed "Insight" sky ground plant disease and pest intelligent monitoring and early warning system was recently released in Hangzhou. The system deeply integrates artificial intelligence technology, aerospace information and plant protection theory, and helps the digital and intelligent development of disease and pest monitoring and early warning in China. It is reported that the "Huiyan" system team has independently developed a chip level intelligent detection device for pests and diseases, developed a low altitude pest and disease inspection dedicated unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing overall solution, and built a multi-scale pest and disease monitoring and early warning technology system based on remote sensing, meteorology, plant protection and other information, empowering traditional plant protection monitoring and reporting work. With the help of the 'Smart Eye' system, traditional crop protection forecasting techniques can effectively solve pain points such as difficult field investigation and identification, low low altitude monitoring accuracy, and weak regional warning capabilities Huang Wenjiang, a researcher at the Aerospace Information Innovation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said. The "Smart Eye" system has achieved rapid and accurate detection of pests and diseases that are suitable for practical plant protection scenarios at the near Earth scale; At the plot scale, dynamic monitoring and efficient management of pests and diseases at the plot level have been achieved; At the regional scale, multi-scale dynamic monitoring and early warning can be carried out for more than 20 major pests and diseases. It is reported that the "Insight" system was jointly released by the Aerospace Information Innovation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hangzhou University of Electronic Science and Technology, Hangzhou China Science and Technology Aerospace Digital Research Institute, and Anhui University at the recent opening of the fifth vegetation pest remote sensing conference.
