Incorporating vivid cases into the classroom to enhance the practical level of teaching and training

Recently, Liu Hua, a teacher from the Radar Noncommissioned Officer School of the Air Force Early Warning Academy, visited a radar brigade of the Air Force in the Western Theater Command and gave a special lecture on the full function operation of a certain type of radar for officers and soldiers. Previously, in response to the shortcomings in training, the brigade actively connected with the school and invited teachers to teach in the camp. After receiving the task, Liu Hua carefully prepared and gave a deep and easy to understand explanation of the existing problems during the class that day, winning rounds of applause. As the teaching contact point of grassroots troops, it is our duty to provide teaching support services to officers and soldiers at any time The school leaders introduced that they focus on strengthening job orientation in teaching and training, optimizing teaching methods based on the needs of military tasks, and gradually setting up teaching contact points in multiple units. Through smooth information communication and feedback mechanisms, they timely incorporate fresh cases of innovative military tactics and training methods into classroom teaching. At the same time, regularly collect and understand the needs of grassroots troops, listen to the opinions and feedback of officers and soldiers, sort out and form relevant topics for research and development, and provide guidance and assistance to officers and soldiers through teaching support. On this basis, the school also expands its teaching and training channels, actively coordinates grassroots troops to carry out follow-up training and joint education, and continuously improves the practical level of teaching and training. During a joint training and teaching session, the radar equipment of a certain brigade suddenly malfunctioned. Associate Professor Ma Jianchao immediately led the teaching and research backbone to conduct a joint inspection and troubleshooting with the officers and soldiers, and ultimately eliminated the fault. Later, they incorporated this practical case into the lesson plan, further enriching the classroom teaching content. In addition, the school regularly invites professional backbone personnel from grassroots troops to the school for discussions, summarizes experience and practices based on job tasks, and enriches classroom teaching with the latest training results. Not long ago, they closely followed the needs of the duty ability of the soldiers and introduced fresh cases into classroom teaching to help pre selected soldiers familiarize themselves with and master the skills required for combat readiness duty, which was well received by the students.
