On October 16th at 7:45 am, China successfully launched the Gaofen-12 05 satellite into orbit using the Long March 4C carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The satellite entered its designated orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. Gaofen-12 05 satellite is mainly used in fields such as land census, urban planning, land ownership confirmation, road network design, crop yield estimation, and disaster prevention and reduction. This mission is the 540th flight of the Long March series carrier rocket. (New Society)
