The Sino Vietnamese De Tian (Ban Yue) Waterfall Cross border Tourism Cooperation Zone officially opened on the 15th, which is also China's first cross-border tourism cooperation zone. The China Vietnam De Tian (Ban Yue) Waterfall Cross border Tourism Cooperation Zone is a project jointly constructed and implemented by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China and Gaoping Province of Vietnam after the signing of the "Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Cooperation in the Protection and Development of De Tian (Ban Yue) Waterfall Tourism Resources" in 2015. According to the agreement, both parties agree to set up a cross-border tourism cooperation zone in the De Tian (Ban Yue) Waterfall Scenic Area, with an area of 2 square kilometers each. The trial operation will begin on September 15, 2023. Huang Canqiang, Director of Shuolong Frontier Inspection Station Office of Guangxi Frontier Inspection General Station, introduced that the border inspection authorities have introduced measures such as "no fingerprint, no stamp of verification, no entry card for foreigners", "online joint review and quick review". Passengers only need to declare relevant information in advance, and can quickly check and clear customs after arriving at the scene. They can make an appointment before 12:30 on the same day. The length of cross-border tour has been extended from the original 5 hours to 6 hours. The convenient customs clearance procedures have stimulated the enthusiasm of Chinese and Vietnamese tourists for cross-border travel. Since its trial operation, Shuolong Border Inspection Station has handled over 30000 passenger border inspection procedures for the cooperative zone.
