The Guangzhou Science and Education City project is located on Zhucun Street in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou City. The first phase of the project covers an area of 10.79 square kilometers and includes 12 vocational college training and appraisal centers, libraries, hospitals, parks, primary and secondary schools, fire stations, transportation, and municipal supporting facilities. China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau South China Construction Company undertakes the construction of living quarters for five vocational colleges, including Transportation Senior Technical School, Urban Vocational College, Public Utility Senior Technical School, Land and Real Estate Management Vocational School, and Construction Engineering Vocational School. The total construction area is approximately 507400 square meters, including 46 dormitory units and 10 functional units, each of which is a prefabricated building with a frame structure. It is currently the largest project in China for fully prefabricated construction of all building units. It is understood that during the planning and construction process, the project fully respects the site's topography and hydrological characteristics, and is committed to nurturing a paradise for education and nurturing between mountains and waters; And strengthened the control of architectural style, promoting the formation of a boutique architectural complex with Chinese style, Lingnan style, and Guangzhou characteristics. During the construction phase, the project team utilizes BIM technology to simulate the three-dimensional layout and construction progress of the construction site, deepen the specialized construction plan model, and provide precise guidance for the construction process through animated demonstrations of complex nodes. At the same time, information technologies such as unmanned aerial vehicle surveying and mapping, structural 3D scanning, virtual construction, and ten new technologies in the construction industry will be applied to implement the concepts of "carbon neutrality" and "new infrastructure", promote the construction of low-carbon ecological urban areas and green smart campuses, and serve as a leading demonstration for the modernization of infrastructure in Guangzhou. At present, with the phased entry of various schools as scheduled, Guangzhou Science and Education City, as well as the surrounding Guangzhou Science and Education City and China Singapore Knowledge City, are jointly forming a strategic overlapping zone of "industry, education, research, business, and residence".
