Research results provide scientific support for the development of forest health industry
2024-10-12
Recently, the project "Analysis and Release Pattern of Fen Polysaccharide Components in Yichun Forest" undertaken by the Key Laboratory of Forest Plant Ecology of the Ministry of Education of Northeast Forestry University has passed the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements. The expert committee organized by the Chinese Forestry Society unanimously believes that this study is at the international advanced level in the research of health functional components in the Xiaoxing'an Mountains forest. This achievement not only provides scientific basis and important support for the development of forest health industry in Yichun City, but also provides useful reference for forest health research and standard formulation in other regions of the country. It is reported that the project was commissioned by the People's Government of Yichun City, led by Northeast Forestry University and participated by Yichun Zhongmeng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. The project aims to address the issue of unclear composition and content of the core health factor, fenduojin, in Yichun Forest Health Care. An innovative method for targeted enrichment, thermal desorption, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry qualitative and quantitative analysis of trace amounts of fenduojin was established. For the first time, the main components and relative contents of typical forest fenduojin in Yichun were analyzed, and the main components of terpenoid fenduojin were identified and quantified as α - pinene, camphene, laurene, D-limonene, cymene, and turpentine. Their content is affected by temperature and humidity, showing seasonal and diurnal fluctuations. The results of this project provide important data support for the health and wellness of Yichun Forest. After investigation, no relevant reports have been found before. This project is the first qualitative and quantitative scientific research on the health and wellness functional components of Yichun Forest in China. Yichun City has 4 million hectares of large forests with a forest coverage rate of 83.8%. In recent years, Yichun has actively promoted the deeper development of the forest health industry, highlighting innovation leadership and technological support, and exploring the impact of forest environment on human health from the perspectives of environmental air indicators and forest medicine.
