2024-10-12

Recently, the Joint Operations College of the National Defense University organized a new group of teachers who have returned from internships and training to hold an experience exchange symposium. After being tempered on the front line of the task, the teachers generally feel that they have gained a lot and believe that this experience is very helpful for them to carry out teaching and research work in the next step. This is a practical measure taken by the institute to improve the quality of joint operations command teaching and talent supply, and accelerate the cultivation of a team of practical combat instructors. In recent years, the institute has coordinated and organized teaching and research personnel to conduct internships and training in various theater offices and frontline troops, taking advantage of opportunities such as learning and training, and participating in major training activities. It has explored the establishment of a talent training mechanism that includes "on-the-job training, proxy training, student training, special research, and task refinement" to help teaching and research personnel learn and accumulate practical experience in joint combat command on the front line of tasks. The leaders of the hospital introduced that since the beginning of this year, they have arranged two batches of teachers to be sent to various war zones for internship and training, and to be on duty. These instructors are all backbone forces in the front line of joint operations command and teaching, with the vast majority having experience in serving in theater and military units, and carrying out major training tasks. The hospital coordinates the design of the development path for teaching and research personnel, explores the potential for job positions and educational training, promotes the certification of joint combat command capabilities for combat command instructors, and encourages instructors to practice, summarize, and improve on the front line of joint combat command operations and tasks. We have planned and organized teaching and research personnel to participate in internships and exercises in batches, promoting the precise integration of intellectual resources in colleges and universities with military task practices, and providing a source of vitality for teaching and research, "said Kong Deyu, one of the first teachers to participate in the internships and exercises. Embedding into the combat command chain to enhance teaching, combat, research, and combat capabilities. A teacher who returned from the internship training introduced that the college requires teachers who participate in the internship training to "write an internship report, complete a scientific research project, and prepare a high-quality lecture". These days, everyone is busy sorting out and summarizing the results of the internship training, striving to integrate the fresh experience of the "hot air" troops into classroom teaching as soon as possible.
